TL;DR

Junior IT Engineer (NOC): Monitoring and maintaining the performance, security, and technical status of the global network and systems with an accent on proactive issue detection and resolution. Focus on collaborating with global R&D teams to ensure high service levels and system stability.

Location: Breda (Onsite). Must live within travel distance of Breda and be willing to work from the office during shifts.

Salary: €2,750 – €3,500

What you will do

  • Monitor the performance, security, and technical status of the network, systems, and traffic 24/7.
  • Proactively detect and resolve technical issues to ensure optimal service levels for clients.
  • Coordinate with global IT, R&D teams, and stakeholders to move from problem identification to complete solution.
  • Manage incidents via telephone and email during a 10-day rotation shift scheme.
  • Contribute to the overall security and stability of the company's technical infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Fluency in Dutch and English is required.
  • Must live within travel distance of Breda and be willing to work onsite during shifts.
  • Comfortable working a 10-day rotation scheme (morning, mid-day, and night shifts).
  • Problem-solving mindset with a natural curiosity to investigate technical root causes.
  • High level of reliability and trustworthiness for seamless shift handovers.

  • Ability to use SQL for database queries and analysis.
