IT Asset Management Intern

TL;DR

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day end-user IT assets across the EU region
• Maintain accurate records for laptops, mobile devices, tablets, peripherals, and inventory
• Support employee onboarding and offboarding by preparing, collecting, and returning devices
• Assist with laptop ordering, reimaging, packing, and shipping
• Track mobile devices and subscriptions, send reminders for returns and updates
• Document processes and ensure consistent adherence
• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments and countries, including US IT team
• Own and present outcomes of a defined asset management project

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor (HBO/WO) in IT, Information Management, Business IT & Management, Computer Science, or related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, reliable, proactive
• Comfortable interacting with employees, stakeholders, and new joiners
• Able to understand and follow processes quickly and accurately
• Interest in IT operations, asset management, inventory, or logistics

Nice to have

• Experience with ticketing or asset management systems (e.g., ServiceNow)
• Basic understanding of hardware lifecycle (imaging, shipping, inventory tracking)
• Strong Excel skills (filters, pivots, data cleanup)
• Interest in process improvement and documentation
