Location: Hybrid in Amsterdam, Netherlands (Must be in the office 2-3 days per week)

What you will do

• Deliver post-sales solution engineering services, including design, acceptance, and remote deployment.
• Analyze system engineering network designs and translate them into solution designs for new builds and upgrades.
• Coordinate deployment activities with Systems Engineering, Service Project Management, and Technical Support teams.
• Develop migration strategies by analyzing customer network data to support transitions to hirify.global platforms.
• Review technical deployment packages with stakeholders to ensure deployment readiness.
• Provide off-site escalation and maintenance window support during in-service network upgrades.

Requirements

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of professional experience.
• Basic knowledge of Layer 0/1 optical transmission and Layer 2–3 IP protocols.
• Proficiency in scripting or DevOps tools such as Python, Java, or Ansible.
• Willingness to be in the office in Amsterdam 2-3 days per week.
• Availability for approximately 25% travel and 25% night/weekend maintenance window work.

Nice to have

• Layer 2 or Layer 3 networking certifications.
• Exposure to hirify.global or other vendor optical product portfolios.
• Experience participating in customer kick-off calls as a technical representative.
• Collaboration experience with presales engineering teams.
