Planner Buyer

What you will do

• Maintain part planning parameters based on material plans and supplier lead times.
• Convert demand signals into purchase orders in accordance with contractual terms.
• Liaise with regional supplier leads to secure delivery commitments and provide site updates.
• Communicate with internal functions like Goods Inwards and Receiving Inspection to ensure point-of-use delivery.
• Coordinate the resolution of supplier nonconformance and return-to-vendor processes.
• Collaborate with strategic sourcing to operationalize contractual terms into planning processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience, or Associate degree with 7+ years, or 10+ years of progressive relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes and negotiation skills.
• Ability to understand and apply complex regulations and procedures.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
• Engineering or technical background is considered a strong advantage.
• Must be able to work onsite in Wolverhampton, UK.

Nice to have

• Certification in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Program Management.
• APICS or other industry-standard certifications.
