3rd Line Data Engineering Specialist (Networking): Delivering critical managed data services and technical support for network solutions with an accent on stability, security, and continuous improvement. Location: Hybrid (Belfast, UK) - 3 days per week in office. Must hold or be eligible for SC (Security Clearance) & NPPV 3 Clearance, requiring a minimum of 5 years working history in the UK.

What you will do

• Take ownership of the end-to-end technical health of live services to ensure stability and security.
• Act as the primary technical authority for customers and partners on complex changes, risks, and service impacts.
• Lead the resolution of complex incidents by coordinating internal teams, suppliers, and third parties.
• Proactively manage the technical estate by identifying vulnerabilities, capacity concerns, and performance opportunities.
• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders to influence technical decisions and drive successful outcomes.

Requirements

• Experience in technical governance and risk-based decision making.
• Proven track record in incident leadership and operational coordination.
• Deep understanding of production environments and system dependencies.
• Automation and observability mindset, utilizing tooling, dashboards, and alerting.
• Eligibility for SC and NPPV 3 Clearance (minimum 5 years UK working history).
• Professional or Specialist level technical accreditation and ITIL knowledge.

Nice to have

• Understanding of SDN and network technologies (Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, Fortinet, Nutanix, AWS, Azure).
• Experience supporting 24/7 live managed customer solutions across networking towers.
