TL;DR

Pre-Sales Engineer (DevOps): Driving enterprise adoption of the Develocity platform by guiding engineering organizations through technical discovery, solution demonstrations, and value-based evaluations with an accent on build and test acceleration. Focus on building technical pipelines, delivering compelling PoCs, and translating complex developer productivity challenges into measurable business ROI.

Location: Must be based in Europe. The role is remote-first but requires up to 35% travel to customer sites and events.

What you will do

  • Partner with Account Executives to identify, qualify, and develop enterprise opportunities using the MEDDIC framework.
  • Conduct customer discovery, deliver technical demos, and lead Proof of Concept (PoC) engagements.
  • Present the technical, business, and financial value of Develocity to engineering leaders and stakeholders.
  • Gather structured customer feedback to influence product roadmap and strategy.
  • Travel up to 35% of the time to support customer sites and industry events.

Requirements

  • Must be based in Europe.
  • 5+ years of experience in Pre-Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or technical consulting for enterprise environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience as a software or DevOps engineer.
  • Technical proficiency with build tools (hirify.global, Maven, Bazel, npm, Python) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions).
  • Experience with observability tooling (Datadog, Splunk, Dynatrace) and artifact repositories.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to prioritize autonomously.

Nice to have

  • Hands-on experience with Develocity.
  • Proficiency in MEDDIC or MEDDPICC sales methodologies.
  • Experience using Agentic AI tools to enhance daily productivity.
