Network Architect (Aerospace): Designing and deploying resilient Missile Warning and Tactical Intelligence network capabilities for the U.S. Space Force with an accent on network design, system interoperability, and secure transport layers. Focus on troubleshooting complex network issues, increasing system reliability, and developing architecture for worldwide encrypted communications.

Location: Hybrid (2-3x per week on site in El Segundo, CA, Colorado Springs, CO, or Boulder, CO). Must be a U.S. Citizen and hold an active U.S. Government security clearance.

Salary: $90,000 – $151,800 per year

What you will do

• Design and deploy next-generation Missile Warning (MW) and Tactical Intelligence (TISR) network capabilities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues to ensure high availability for mission-critical systems.
• Analyze existing infrastructures to improve security, reliability, and interoperability using the OSI model.
• Develop network architecture for worldwide encrypted communications and model data flows in MBSE.
• Ensure network device security compliance using STIG hardening requirements and secure access control.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret (TS/SCI) security clearance is required.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of experience as a network or data center systems engineer.
• 3+ years of professional experience in network architecture.
• Proficiency with IPv4, IPv6, QoS, MPLS, BGP, and network diagramming tools like MS Visio.
• Relevant certifications such as Network+, Security+, CISSP, CCNA, or CCNP.

Nice to have

• Experience with missile warning missions or ground-based systems.
• Knowledge of Unix, Linux, and RHEL (version 6 or above).
• Experience with enterprise network management tools, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
• Ability to design scalable architectures in both on-prem and cloud environments.
