What you will do

• Configure and troubleshoot tactical Mission Command applications (ATAK, TAKX) in virtual and field environments.
• Maintain containerized software deployments across cloud, on-premises, and dismount compute environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Design and refine system architecture diagrams and network topologies to enhance tactical operations.
• Operate and integrate tactical radios (Silvus, TrellisWare, MPU5) and handle tactical message formats (VMF, JREAP-C, CoT).
• Develop and integrate data pipelines and protocol bridges for the Farsight geospatial platform.
• Collaborate with DoW service members and cross-functional teams to validate integrations via field testing.

Requirements

• Active Secret clearance required (TS with SCI eligibility preferred).
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• 3+ years of experience building or fielding systems in defense or dual-use environments.
• Hands-on experience with ATAK, MMC-S, TAK-X, or EWPMT-X.
• Proficiency with tactical communications (Silvus, TrellisWare, MPU5) and L2/L3 network concepts.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%, including field and conflict-adjacent locations.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of Ardupilot, PX4, Betaflight, and MAVLink.
• Experience with DoW modernization exercises (e.g., Scarlet Dragon, Project Convergence).
• Familiarity with ITN, C2FIX, and/or NGC2 system architectures.
• Interest in simulation for wargaming and utilizing agentic workflows to accelerate integration.
