What you will do
- Monitor and troubleshoot real-time core network and infrastructure issues.
- Analyze end-to-end call traces across various protocols (MAP, TCAP, RANAP, DIAMETER, SIP, GTP, etc.).
- Resolve L3-level telecom incidents and coordinate fault rectification with MNOs.
- Create on-demand dashboards in Grafana/Prometheus to monitor network metrics.
- Develop training materials related to signaling, troubleshooting, and best practices.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotating roster.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in a telecom environment performing L3 support or similar roles.
- Solid understanding of 2G/3G/4G/VoLTE network protocols and signaling.
- Proficiency in analyzing signaling traces using Wireshark.
- Strong knowledge of the OSI model, TCP/IP, IPv4, and IPv6.
- Basic scripting skills in Python, Linux, and Bash.
- Proficient English (written and spoken) is required.
Nice to have
- Experience with SS7 signaling network troubleshooting.
- Experience with ElasticSearch.
