What you will do

• Develop and review electrical design packages for medium and high voltage substations within a multi-discipline team.
• Create SCADA point lists, remote terminal unit (RTU) programs, human-machine interfaces (HMIs), and metering calculations.
• Develop complete design packages for site network and communication architectures compliant with client and regulatory requirements.
• Implement sound cybersecurity architecture and configurations on substation devices, applying NERC CIP compliance.
• Investigate root causes of failures to maintain quality and recommend technical improvements.
• Travel to client sites as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in design, modeling, and testing of substation communication systems (SCADA/EMS).
• Knowledge of industry standards including National Electric Code (NEC), National Electric Safety Code (NESC), and IEEE.
• Strong command of English language with good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to perform independently and provide project ownership.

• Professional Engineer (PE) registration.
