Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Westminster, CO (onsite 3 days/week), with occasional work in Longmont, CO.

Salary: $102,000 – $149,600 annually.

What you will do

• Partner with engineering leads to evolve multi-tenant, multi-domain Elastic environments.
• Optimize cluster topology, shard strategy, and cross-cluster replication for performance and cost.
• Build and maintain ingestion pipelines using tools like Kafka, Beats, and Logstash.
• Automate platform operations using Terraform, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Troubleshoot complex cluster issues including heap pressure, query latency, and shard imbalance.
• Define standards and guardrails for platform usage across various business domains.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Active U.S. Government security clearance at Secret level required.
• 6–10+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering.
• Deep hands-on experience operating Elasticsearch at scale in production environments.
• Strong proficiency with Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform.
• Experience building and operating systems in AWS.

Nice to have

• Experience with monitoring ecosystems like Prometheus or Grafana.
• Background in SIEM or security analytics using Elastic.
• Experience with large-scale data lakehouse architectures.
• Relevant AWS or cloud certifications.
