B&R Technician I (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Monitor boiler and refrigeration equipment to ensure efficient, safe, and compliant operations.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and unplanned repairs on specialty equipment.
• Diagnose and repair problems with valves, pumps, motors, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
• Manage equipment startups, shutdowns, and maintain settings, pressures, and levels.
• Document work order results and status updates daily using the CMMS.
• Maintain organized workspaces and documentation following 5S standards.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Lock-out/Tag-out certification required (training provided if not currently qualified).
• Experience with maintenance in a manufacturing environment, preferably in food processing.
• Experience with Ammonia or Freon refrigeration systems is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in English (verbal and written) for understanding instructions and communication.
• Ability to perform basic math and basic computer operations including Microsoft Office.

• Specific experience in food processing environments.
