What you will do

• Lead product development quality activities across new product introductions and design change efforts.
• Develop and implement APQP plans and manage PPAP submissions to qualify parts and processes for production.
• Design and execute statistical studies (SPC, capability studies, DOE, regression) to diagnose issues and drive improvements.
• Create and maintain process control plans, gauge capability studies, and measurement systems analysis.
• Consult with Design, Manufacturing, and Engineering teams to optimize designs for cost, reliability, and manufacturability.
• Manage project schedules and budgets, with the possibility of supervising up to four quality engineers or technicians.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (MS in Applied Statistics preferred).
• 5 years of relevant experience with applied statistics and manufacturing design knowledge.
• Demonstrated experience in product development using APQP and PPAP.
• Strong background in SPC, capability studies, MSA, DOE, and regression analysis.
• Practical knowledge of assembly and test (A&T) processes for complex electromechanical systems.
• Must have access to U.S. export-controlled information.
