What you will do

• Participate in technical design discussions and create clear design documentation.
• Implement new features and maintain existing storage platform applications.
• Instrument services and develop metrics to drive durability and performance improvements.
• Help shape coding methodologies and best practices within the team.

Requirements

• 4+ years of OOP experience (Java, Rust, C++, C#, etc.) in an enterprise environment.
• Professional focus on backend development.
• Experience building large-scale software systems running on thousands of servers.
• Professional experience incorporating AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Gemini, Cursor, Claude Code).
• Proficiency in all stages of the SDLC: design, implementation, testing, and rollout.
• Must be based in Argentina, Colombia, Costa Rica, or Mexico.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Java or Rust.
• Experience building and interpreting models, dashboards, or reports.
• Familiarity with hard drive performance.
• Understanding of Linux internals and file systems.
