TL;DR

Location: Hybrid work model in Barcelona, two days per week in Gràcia office. Six-week “Work from Anywhere” policy.

What you will do

• Develop and document software solutions following the full software development lifecycle, focusing on system architecture and core analytical backend.
• Contribute to strategic execution, optimization, and insights on technology advancements for platform scalability, reliability, and availability.
• Collaborate with engineers and tech leads to define architecture, prototype stacks, and implement features per industry standards.
• Work with product owners on roadmaps, priorities, staffing, and estimates for tactical vs. strategic solutions.
• Ensure program functionality during maintenance, testing, and provide expertise on technical solutions.
• Document systems for future upgrades and maintenance.

Requirements

• 5+ years writing production-level code in Java
• Understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms
• Proficiency in debugging and optimizing batch JVM processes and vertical scaling

• Strong prioritization, communication, and ownership in collaborative environments
• Experience partnering with product teams on complex problems
