What you will do

• Design and implement containerization strategies for enterprise data platform components.
• Lead the migration from VM-based deployments to Kubernetes/OpenShift infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD deployment pipelines specifically for Ab Initio product components.
• Automate provisioning, deployment, and maintenance using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks.
• Support ETL platform operations moving data across private clouds, MongoDB, Teradata, and other enterprise stores.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with infrastructure and data engineering teams to resolve blockers and optimize performance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in containerization and platform engineering.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Proven ability to build and maintain robust CI/CD deployment pipelines.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Charlotte, NC.

Nice to have

• Experience working with Ab Initio, ETL, or data platform engineering.
• Knowledge of MongoDB, Teradata, or similar enterprise data systems.
• Certifications such as CKA, CKAD, or cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, OpenShift).
• Experience working within financial services environments.
