What you will do

• Translate ambiguous infrastructure problems into technical proposals and drive them through RFCs and architecture reviews.
• Design self-service platform APIs in Go for onboarding, provisioning, deployment, and observability.
• Establish delivery standards using Terraform and GitOps with Argo CD, including the creation of a continuous-deployment flow.
• Evolve multi-tenant EKS foundations to improve reliability, security, scale, and cost.
• Optimize SLOs, alerting, and incident response using Grafana Cloud to reduce operational dependency on heroics.
• Shape AI-assisted workflows for alert enrichment, incident context-gathering, and runbook-assisted diagnosis.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience in backend, infrastructure, or platform engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Go or a similar language, focusing on design, testing, and maintainability.
• Proven track record of designing, shipping, and operating cloud services or infrastructure platforms in production.
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes, networking, cloud platforms, or reliability engineering.
• Experience setting technical direction and leading work that requires cross-team alignment.
• Must be based in the United States or Canada.

Nice to have

• Experience with EKS and ingress/CNI/service-mesh.
• Observability expertise with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• CI/CD and progressive delivery experience (GitHub Actions, Argo CD, canaries).
• Experience leading migrations or adoption programs across multiple teams.
