What you will do

• Partner with Product and Engineering teams to design, test, and deploy cutting-edge simulation tools.
• Drive technical processes for rapid-response simulation-based scenario testing and root-cause evaluation of field issues.
• Define and document policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that integrate AI/ML tools into vendor workflows.
• Design and implement robust quality control processes for both human and AI-generated outputs.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert providing technical leadership to cross-functional stakeholders on testing feasibility.

Requirements

• BS/BA degree or 4 years of relevant experience in AV Software Quality, Simulation, or Technical Operations.
• Experience with ML testing and validation, including dataset QA, bias detection, and performance evaluation.
• Proven track record of root-causing high-complexity technical issues and mastering proprietary software.
• Strong understanding of driving rules, behavioral safety, and complex traffic environments.
• Location: Must be based in Mountain View, California

• Hands-on experience with advanced AV simulation test environments.
• Basic experience with SQL for data extraction and results analysis.
• Experience working with offshore teams or multiple local operations hubs.
