Salary: $77,600 – $176,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop and implement comprehensive test plans based on user stories for data systems.
• Validate software and data pipelines using Azure, Oracle, and AWS-based data.
• Perform manual and automated testing to identify and document system deficiencies.
• Generate problem resolutions and track quality assurance standards to monitor system performance.
• Communicate defects to the development team to facilitate iterative tool improvement.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with Azure Tools for data engineering and ELT (Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks).
• Proficiency in analyzing, profiling, and querying data using SQL and PySpark.
• Experience building automated testing frameworks to catch data issues proactively.
• Ability to implement and execute test plans using Python, Scala, or CoTS automated tooling.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a US Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination.
• Associate's degree.

Nice to have

• Experience with Collibra's Data Quality tools.
• Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence for project tracking.
• Ability to integrate testing protocols with monitoring apps like Dynatrace or Splunk.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Azure Data Engineer Certification.
