What you will do

• Design and execute manual test cases based on functional and technical specifications.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python and/or Node.js.
• Create test plans covering cloud services, APIs, and hardware integrations.
• Conduct system, integration, regression, and release testing.
• Investigate and document defects to support efficient resolution by engineering teams.
• Set up, configure, and maintain test environments.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in manual and automated software testing.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Node.js for test automation.
• Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, HTTP, MQTT).
• Experience leveraging AI to increase QA productivity.
• Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.Sc.) or equivalent experience.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in San Diego, CA.

Nice to have

• Testing or integration of IoT devices or hardware products.
• Experience with fleet management, automotive, or telematics platforms.
• Knowledge of AWS cloud services.
