TL;DR

Indirect Procurement Intern (Medtech): Supporting indirect spend initiatives and day-to-day procurement activities with an accent on market research, supplier analysis, and cost optimization. Focus on executing RFIs/RFPs/RFQs, analyzing spend data, and coordinating with internal departments to improve sourcing processes.

Location: Fully Remote (must be based in the United States)

Salary: $23 - $32 per hour

What you will do

  • Conduct research on indirect spend categories, market trends, and supplier capabilities.
  • Assist in the development and execution of RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs for indirect goods and services.
  • Prepare cost comparison analyses, supplier scorecards, and recommendation summaries.
  • Analyze indirect spend data to identify purchasing patterns, savings opportunities, and compliance gaps.
  • Maintain and update dashboards, category spend reports, and the non-production contract repository.
  • Work with internal departments including IT, HR, Finance, Legal, Facilities, and Marketing to support sourcing needs.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the United States.
  • Currently enrolled as a junior or senior in a Bachelor’s degree program in a related field.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of procurement or supply chain concepts.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills for technical discussions.
