What you will do

• Design manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies and equipment installation.
• Develop, optimize, and validate injection molding processes for new product launches, covering thermoplastics and thermosets.
• Execute Design of Experiments (DOEs) and utilize statistical analysis to drive data-driven process improvements.
• Manage process characterization and the full validation lifecycle (IQ/OQ/PQ).
• Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, and Operations to ensure seamless product transfer to production.
• Troubleshoot process issues and implement sustainable corrective actions in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 4+ years of experience (or Master's with 2+, or PhD).
• Must possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization (sponsorship is not available for this level).
• Strong expertise in injection molding processes and scientific molding techniques.
• Proficiency in Design of Experiments (DOE) and statistical analysis.
• Hands-on experience with injection molding machines such as Arburg or Sodick.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of mold design, tooling concepts, hot runners, and cooling systems.
• Deep understanding of polymer behavior, including rheology, viscosity, and thermal degradation.
• Experience with secondary operations such as over molding, insert molding, and annealing.
