What you will do

• Provide personalized support to patients and doctors via phone and online portals.
• Investigate insurance benefits, coverage, and out-of-pocket costs.
• Collaborate with providers to resolve issues related to payments, reimbursements, and appeals.
• Assist with prior authorizations, medical necessity processes, and benefit verification.
• Research alternate reimbursement resources and federal/state assistance programs.
• Process patient assistance applications and manage order entry, changes, and shipment tracking.

Requirements

• High School Diploma with 4 years of healthcare experience OR Associate’s Degree with 2 years of healthcare experience.
• Must be based in the United States (as per ADA and US-specific compensation policies).
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment.

Nice to have

• Customer service or call center experience.
• Experience in patient assistance, reimbursement, or pharmacy benefit management.
• Knowledge of medical billing and coding.
