Structural Design Engineer

TL;DR

Structural Design Engineer (Civil Engineering): Designing and analyzing steel and concrete structures for industrial and commercial projects with an accent on structural analysis and design codes. Location: Hybrid - Must be based in or able to commute to Coraopolis/Moon Township, PA (2 days onsite / 3 days remote)

Salary: $104,000 – $124,800 (Payrate: $50–$60/hr)

• Perform structural analysis and design of steel and concrete structures for industrial and commercial projects.
• Apply IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC codes to ensure design compliance.
• Execute wind and seismic analysis and design lateral systems.
• Utilize Navisworks and Bluebeam for project coordination and design review.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure structural integrity and efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Structural emphasis preferred).
• PE License required.
• 4+ years of professional Structural Engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with structural analysis/design software.
• Strong understanding of lateral design systems and seismic/wind analysis.

Nice to have

• MS in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• Experience with semiconductor or industrial facility projects.
• Experience leading small teams or mentoring junior engineers.
