What you will do

• Maintain and support MES and other manufacturing-related systems to ensure stable factory operations.
• Administer Windows/Linux servers, Hyper-V virtualization environments, and SQL Server databases.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and perform root cause analysis for production issues.
• Manage SQL Server backup/recovery, database performance optimization, and routine maintenance.
• Support storage systems, file servers, SAN/NAS environments, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Coordinate emergency response activities to ensure 24/7 business continuity for factory operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
• 5+ years of experience in system administration, infrastructure support, or manufacturing IT environments.
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server administration, including backup/recovery and performance tuning.
• Proficiency with Windows Server, basic Linux management, and Hyper-V virtualization.
• Knowledge of storage systems (SAN/NAS) and TCP/IP network fundamentals.
• Ability to work onsite in Reno, NV and support after-hours or emergency production incidents.

Nice to have

• Microsoft SQL Server related certifications.
• VMware or Windows Server certifications.
• Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate certification.
• Direct experience supporting MES systems in manufacturing environments.
