Financial Analyst (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities, including reporting and reconciliations.
• Analyze P&L, balance sheets, and accounts to identify trends and variances to support business decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and improve financial analysis tools and reporting standards.
• Apply GAAP principles to record, classify, and review financial transactions with accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and audit standards such as SOX.
• Support special projects and manage multiple priorities under strict deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in accounting and/or financial analysis.
• Must be based in or able to work from Akron, OH.
• US Work Authorization is required (Sponsorship is not available).
• Strong knowledge and application of GAAP accounting principles.

Nice to have

• CPA or MBA credentials.
• Experience working in analytical, fast-paced corporate environments.
