TL;DR
QA Engineering Professional (Security): Execute manual and automated functional, regression, and load testing, write test specifications/designs, and run scripts to validate application functionality with an accent on high-velocity production pushes and risk mitigation. Focus on diagnosing defects across multi-component journeys and supporting full lifecycle integration testing under DV security clearance constraints.
Location: London (Euston), onsite (5 days office based), Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours
Salary: Competitive salary + benefits (DV allowance: £5k per annum may be payable monthly while holding DV clearance)

What you will do
- Diagnose defects against components using the test strategy, identify defects in multi-component journeys, and write test specifications/designs (scripts).
- Run test scripts and support full lifecycle integration testing to deliver project outcomes.
- Execute automation, functional, regression, and load testing scenarios to validate application functionality.
- Maintain test suites and support high-velocity, high-quality production releases using manual tests.
- Assess and propose mitigations for risks impacting product/service quality.
Requirements
- DV (Developed Vetting) Security Clearance is required.
- Must have lived in the UK for 10+ years to obtain DV clearance.
- Experience with software testing, including manual and automated testing.
- Ability to design/write test cases and perform functional and non-functional testing.
- Experience working on complex, large-scale programmes.
- ISTQB certification (or equivalent) is required/expected.
Nice to have
- Test management tooling experience (JIRA, Confluence, Xray).
- Ansible coding experience.
- Experience with automated test tools.
- OSI model awareness.
