Quality Advisor (Engineering)

What you will do

• Provide quality advice and guidance to project teams to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
• Conduct internal and external audits and produce detailed reports on outcomes.
• Prepare and review Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and supporting QA documentation.
• Monitor quality performance against agreed KPIs and validate the effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Liaise with stakeholders, including client QA departments and procurement teams, to ensure transparency.
• Promote a continuous improvement philosophy and 'right first time' approach across all project sites.

Requirements

• Must have a full clean driving licence and ability to travel to multiple sites.
• CQI Membership or working towards accreditation is essential.
• Current Internal Auditor qualification is essential.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a highly regulated industry such as petrochemical, oil & gas, or construction.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and ISO 45001 & 14001 standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent report writing skills.

Nice to have

• Experience or qualifications in special processes like NDT, heat treatment, or dimensional verification.
• Knowledge of pipework, steelwork, and insulation.
• Familiarity with technical specifications such as API, ASME, ASTM, and PED.
