What you will do

• Own the testing strategy for RuneScape: Dragonwilds’ complex systems to ensure a fair and stable player experience.
• Define and evolve test strategies using Unreal Engine 5, automation, telemetry, and profiling tools.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert, leveraging player telemetry and exploit analysis to surface risks.
• Mentor and develop members of the QA team to raise the bar for multiplayer and live-service testing.
• Collaborate across disciplines, including development, design, Live Operations, and Localisation.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing QA for multiplayer or live-service products.
• Hands-on expertise in networking, replication, persistence, matchmaking, and server performance testing.
• Strong understanding of open-world challenges, including streaming, AI interactions, and desynchronisation.
• Ability to drive risk-based test strategies in a live-service environment.
• Proficiency with QA tooling such as JIRA, Xray, and TestRail.
• Experience mentoring QA team members and improving organizational quality processes.
