Salary: $134,443 – $179,257

What you will do

• Architect and evolve cloud infrastructure platforms across AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Design scalable solutions to improve developer velocity, platform reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Lead capacity planning and performance optimization for globally distributed systems running on EKS.
• Drive infrastructure automation across provisioning, deployments, observability, security, and platform operations.
• Partner with product engineering teams to design infrastructure patterns for new microservices.
• Mentor engineers on infrastructure design, Kubernetes adoption, and cloud-native development.

Requirements

• 8+ years of engineering experience, with 5+ years focused on production cloud infrastructure.
• Deep expertise in AWS services including EKS, EC2, IAM, RDS, ElastiCache, Route53, Kafka/MSK, and VPC.
• Strong hands-on experience operating Kubernetes platforms at scale.
• 5+ years working with Terraform, Helm, Docker, CI/CD systems, and GitOps workflows.
• Proven ability to establish infrastructure standards and drive adoption across engineering organizations.
• Must be based in the USA and able to work from the Chicago office.
