What you will do

• Lead the design and evolution of core platform services, APIs, and shared primitives.
• Build reusable building blocks to increase leverage for product and AI engineers.
• Define architecture for SaaS, enterprise single-tenant, and government-cloud environments.
• Partner with product, design, and AI leaders to translate customer needs into platform investments.
• Maintain and evolve the internal developer platform and agentic engineering capabilities.
• Mentor senior and mid-level engineers to raise the organization's platform engineering bar.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, specifically building product-facing platforms.
• Deep expertise in API design, services, and shared systems.
• Fluency with AWS, Kubernetes, and distributed systems.
• Proven track record as a technical leader across multiple teams.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and ability to review complex codebases.
• Must be based in the USA.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-native products, agent frameworks, or LLM orchestration.
• Experience with both multi-tenant SaaS and single-tenant enterprise deployments.
• Previous experience as a founding platform engineer at a vertical SaaS or enterprise AI company.
