Location: Remote or Hybrid (Saskatoon or Toronto, Canada)

Salary: CAD $120,000 - $180,000

What you will do

• Oversee and improve month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Manage full-cycle accounting operations including AP, AR, payroll, revenue recognition, equity, and tax compliance.
• Mentor and lead a team of accounting professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Prepare monthly flux analysis and provide clear commentary on business activity, drivers, and trends.
• Resolve technical accounting matters by preparing and reviewing detailed accounting memos.
• Coordinate annual audits and lead compliance filings for Canada and the US.

Requirements

• CPA designation.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in tech, SaaS, or high-growth scale-up environments.
• 5+ years of people leadership experience with a track record of accountability.
• Experience managing close processes for multi-entity, multi-currency organizations.
• Hands-on experience with Canadian and US payroll standards.
• Preference for candidates who can thrive in a hybrid environment with offices in Saskatoon and Toronto.

Nice to have

• Experience with major ERP systems, particularly NetSuite.
• Direct experience working within the SaaS industry.
