Salary: $69,000 – $93,000 CAD annually + 8% Target Incentives

What you will do

• Manage the revenue recognition month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial results.
• Analyze product and services sales to ensure proper revenue recognition and correct reflection in the ERP system.
• Review contract terms and conditions and research accounting guidance for significant arrangements.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue reports and provide insightful commentary on business performance vs forecasts.
• Maintain revenue accounting principles and internal controls in compliance with US GAAP.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (Sales, Business Development, Fulfillment) and external audit teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of revenue accounting experience.
• CPA certification required.
• Strong technical background in IFRS 15 and/or ASC 606.
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience within the technology industry or Big Four accounting firms.
• Must be based in or able to commute to the Toronto office.

Nice to have

• US GAAP experience.
• Experience with Power BI reporting and dashboard development.
• Hands-on experience with the SAP RAR module.
• Proven track record of automating and improving finance and revenue processes.
