Security Engineer (Cloud Security)

What you will do

• Triage, validate, and remediate security vulnerabilities across products and infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain internal and open-source security tooling using production-grade code.
• Conduct secure code reviews, threat modeling, and security design reviews.
• Implement security automation across CI/CD, cloud, and internal platforms.
• Support incident response, security investigations, and compliance initiatives.
• Investigate emerging risks related to AI-assisted development and integrate AI tooling.

Requirements

• Professional experience in software engineering, security engineering, or both.
• Proficiency in writing production-grade code in Go, Rust, or Python.
• Strong understanding of cloud, application, infrastructure, and platform security fundamentals.
• Ability to thrive in fast-moving, ambiguous environments with strong ownership.
• English fluency is required.
• Must be based in the EU or in a time zone overlapping with Europe/US.

Nice to have

• Open-source contributions or maintainership.
• Experience with Kubernetes, containers, or PostgreSQL/database security.
• Background in detection engineering, incident response, or securing LLM-enabled workflows.
