Salary: £29,290 – £32,320 per year

What you will do

  • Deliver generalist HR support and advice to senior leaders on recruitment, grievances, conduct, and performance management.
  • Manage a diverse caseload of HR cases, including employee relations and organizational change.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and trade union representatives.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and conduct HR audits and policy updates.
  • Assist in the production and development of HR resources and materials for clients.
  • Support safeguarding checks and administrative tasks related to DBS disclosures.

Requirements

  • Must be based in or be able to work in Wakefield (Hybrid)
  • Experience providing complex HR advice to senior leaders in highly unionized environments.
  • Strong knowledge of current UK employment legislation and HR systems.
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification (or currently studying towards it).
  • Proven track record of resolving complex casework problems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
