TL;DR

Product Owner (EdTech): Driving the development and delivery of digital assessment products with an accent on backlog management, stakeholder alignment, and user-centric design. Focus on translating product vision into actionable requirements for cross-functional teams to revolutionize the assessment experience for learners and educators.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Manchester or Milton Keynes (Hybrid: 2 days/week in office)

Salary: £52,763–£61,343 (depending on location)

What you will do

  • Prioritise and manage the product backlog to deliver meaningful outcomes.
  • Translate product vision and strategy into clear, actionable user stories for development teams.
  • Partner with stakeholders to align delivery with organisational goals and strategic objectives.
  • Support sprint planning, refinement, and release cycles in an agile environment.
  • Monitor market trends and user feedback to inform continuous product improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable and intuitive digital solutions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in product ownership within a technology-driven environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and influence cross-functional teams and technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and a track record of high-quality delivery.
  • Must be able to work from the Manchester or Milton Keynes office 2 days per week.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of the EdTech sector and the education landscape.
  • Experience working with third-party suppliers and technical specialists.
