What you will do

• Define the product vision and roadmap for cloud-based video and audio encoding systems.
• Lead cross-functional teams to build scalable and reliable platforms supporting 24/7 audience experiences.
• Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams on cloud-native solution design.
• Oversee third-party supplier contracts and ensure commercial strategy alignment.
• Implement AI capabilities to enhance metadata for better discoverability, accessibility, and editorial workflows.

Requirements

• Significant experience managing complex digital or platform products end-to-end.
• Proven ability to develop product strategies and roadmaps based on data and insight.
• Experience collaborating with engineering on technical architectural trade-offs.
• Proficiency in Agile practices, including discovery, backlog management, and story mapping.
• Strong stakeholder management skills across technical, editorial, and business domains.
• Must be eligible to work in the UK.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms.
• Background in video streaming, broadcast, or media-led products.
• Experience with AI-enabled capabilities in a media context.
