TL;DR

Software Development Engineer II (Frontend): Designing and building new features and experiments to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention with an accent on high-quality product development and iterative experimentation. Focus on shaping the technical vision, collaborating across the stack, and building robust, delightful user experiences for a global payment network.

Location: Must be based in or able to work from the London office

Salary: £65,600–£98,400

What you will do

  • Design, build, and own new features and experiments within the Growth Group.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive customer acquisition and retention.
  • Plan and execute technical initiatives to improve product quality and performance.
  • Contribute to the engineering culture through knowledge sharing and mentorship.
  • Apply an iterative approach to validate ideas and improve product outcomes.
  • Work across the stack to solve complex problems and deliver reliable systems.

Requirements

  • Experience building web products and services.
  • Strong proficiency in frontend technologies and a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.
  • Passion for building reliable, well-tested systems.
  • Openness to working across the stack with backend technologies.
  • Must be based in or able to work from the London office.

Nice to have

  • Experience working with backend technologies.
  • Experience with Ruby on Rails, Golang, or Python.
