What you will do

• Assemble products ranging from simple sub-assemblies to final instrument builds following instructions.
• Perform final testing of instruments to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Conduct fault finding and technical problem solving during the assembly process.
• Collaborate with development engineers to improve product efficiencies.
• Work within a low-volume, high-complexity manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• Must be based in or be able to work on-site in Cambridge, UK.
• Ideally 2+ years of experience as a Mechanical Technician or similar position.
• BTEC, NVQ, or HNC in an engineering discipline.
• Practical, hands-on approach to problem solving.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude toward learning.
