What you will do

• Provide day-to-day HR advice and guidance to People Managers, ensuring consistent policy application.
• Deliver core HR operations and maintain accurate people data across the employee lifecycle.
• Manage routine employee relations cases and resolve concerns proactively.
• Draft and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with current employment legislation.
• Use people data and analytics to identify trends and inform organizational decision-making.
• Support organizational change activity through coordination and practical HR guidance.

Requirements

• Proven experience in an HR Advisory or generalist HR role.
• Strong working knowledge of HR policies, processes, and employment practices.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using HR systems and people data.
• Must be based in or able to work hybridly in Sunderland, UK.

Nice to have

• CIPD qualification (Level 5 or equivalent).
• Experience supporting engagement initiatives or organizational change activity.
• Experience working within a matrixed or fast-paced environment.
