What you will do

• Evaluate book proposals and manage the peer-review process
• Liaise with authors throughout publication, including contract negotiations
• Collaborate with editorial boards on manuscript submissions
• Coordinate with production, marketing, and sales departments
• Build and maintain networks with academics
• Attend conferences and visit universities for acquisition
• Meet annual publishing targets

Requirements

• Postgraduate degree
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Availability to travel to universities and conferences
• Track record of meeting deadlines and delivering results

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in Mathematics or related field
• Experience in academic publishing
• Working knowledge of LaTeX
• Good command of German
