What you will do

• Manage a diverse portfolio of government funding programs, public affairs tasks, and technical operational solutions.
• Provide secretariat services for energy trade associations, including organizing meetings and delivering work programmes.
• Conduct desk-based and market research on energy policy, commercial business, and environmental issues.
• Author high-quality policy position papers, advocacy reports, client briefings, and insight pieces.
• Coordinate workshops and events using various tools to gather insights and encourage industry debate.
• Visualize data and present findings to engage stakeholders and influence the national policy landscape.

Requirements

• Relevant degree (2:1 minimum) in climate change, energy, geography, politics, or sustainability.
• Ability to convert complex technical issues into clear, concise, and accurate reports and presentations.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle competing priorities and deadlines.
• Proven ability to build and maintain successful relationships with clients and policymakers.
• Demonstrated passion for the low-carbon transition and the move toward a greener economy.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in energy operations, research, industry, or government.
• Technical or operational understanding of smart infrastructure, decentralised energy, and flexibility.
