What you will do

• Lead architectural decisions across Go, Python, and TypeScript stacks to ensure performance and scalability.
• Build end-to-end features from backend services and APIs to frontend product experiences.
• Drive tracing, monitoring, and evaluation workflows with a focus on reliability and query performance.
• Partner closely with product and design to shape the product roadmap.
• Set engineering standards, define patterns, and lead code reviews for the team.
• Mentor and grow engineers through design feedback, pairing, and technical guidance.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience in backend or fullstack engineering on complex production systems.
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or Go (backend) and TypeScript/React (frontend).
• Demonstrated experience owning architectural decisions and managing data system tradeoffs.
• Proven ability to optimize high-throughput or mission-critical systems for reliability.
• Track record of taking systems from prototype to production and maintaining them at scale.
• Strong communication skills and comfort operating cross-functionally with leadership.

Nice to have

• Experience with database systems like Postgres, Redis, or ClickHouse.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Familiarity with AI/LLM infrastructure, observability tooling, or evaluation frameworks.
