What you will do

• Develop and revise legal strategies for discovery, investigation, and trial proceedings.
• Conduct hearings, trials, depositions, oral arguments, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Research applicable laws and draft legal documents, pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Advise and communicate with claims representatives and insured clients regarding legal opinions.
• Apply technology to legal processes to improve quality and reduce costs.
• Act as a team or group leader for an assigned group within the office.

Requirements

• Must reside in California and hold a valid California bar license.
• Completion of law school with an LLB or JD degree.
• Minimum of 1 successful year of experience as an attorney.
• General knowledge of insurance law and specific understanding of workers' compensation.
• Strong ability to communicate and persuade through written and spoken word.
• Experience appropriate to the level of cases handled.
