Senior DevOps Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, and Terraform Enterprise.
• Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) across AWS and Azure platforms.
• Develop reusable CI/CD templates and support migration from legacy tools to modern GitOps-based workflows.
• Integrate DevSecOps controls and compliance checks into delivery pipelines to ensure enterprise security standards.
• Monitor systems and perform root cause analysis (RCA) using tools like Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Leverage AI/ML-driven automation to improve pipeline efficiency, anomaly detection, and incident response.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related roles.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Strong proficiency with Infrastructure as Code, specifically Terraform.
• Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms and Docker containerization.
• Strong programming and scripting skills in Python, Java, or Bash.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Reston, VA (3 days per week).

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes orchestration (EKS, AKS).
• Experience working within financial services or other highly regulated environments.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC2 or NIST.
• Knowledge of modern deployment strategies like blue/green and canary.
• Experience with GitOps tools and practices.
