What you will do

• Provide Level 2 production support for consumer technology platforms and transaction-based systems.
• Design and enhance observability, alerting, and monitoring capabilities using AppDynamics and Splunk.
• Analyze logs and system data to determine root causes and customer impact during incidents.
• Act as a liaison between business partners, operations, and engineering teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
• Coordinate escalations to engineering teams and manage production issues via Jira boards.
• Onboard applications into observability platforms and configure monitoring standards and dashboards.

Requirements

• Experience using Splunk as a logging and diagnostic tool in a production environment.
• Proficiency with AppDynamics or similar application performance monitoring tools.
• Understanding of production support processes within regulated or financial services environments.
• Ability to analyze logs and trends to identify root causes and communicate impact in business language.
• Experience with incident management tools such as ServiceNow and Jira.
• Must be based in Irving, Texas

Nice to have

• Exposure to observability tools such as Grafana and Prometheus.
• Working knowledge of automation concepts used in production support.
• Basic familiarity with databases such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL, or Mongo.
• General understanding of cloud environments and distributed systems.
