What you will do

• Design and deploy low-latency connectivity solutions for clients and internal infrastructure projects.
• Support deployment and maintenance of Firewalls, network switches, routers, and other network appliances.
• Construct valid configurations and perform peer reviews via change control systems.
• Troubleshoot complex internal and external customer issues and lead system recovery efforts.
• Collaborate with network engineering to design client-specific connectivity and provide mentoring to team members.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for support escalations.

Requirements

• 10-14 years of experience deploying and supporting network equipment in a service provider or large-scale Enterprise network.
• Expertise with Fortinet, Cisco ASA, Arista, and Nexus hardware and software.
• Strong proficiency in BGP, IPSec VPN, NAT, and managing firewall policies.
• Deep knowledge of TCP, UDP, and upper layer protocols.
• Must be based in the USA and able to work from the New York office weekly.
• Required work schedule: Tuesday-Saturday.
• Experience with cross-connectivity to high-speed, ultra-low latency financial markets and venues.

Nice to have

• Experience with Multicast.
• Familiarity with Ansible, Linux, and Python.
• Understanding of JIRA as a ticketing system.
