What you will do

• Design and develop microservices and APIs using Java and Python.
• Build performant, accessible front-end features using Angular and TypeScript.
• Design and optimize cloud-native workloads on AWS (ECS/EKS/Lambda).
• Model, tune, and operate relational workloads on Amazon RDS (PostgreSQL/Aurora).
• Champion automated testing practices including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Collaborate with product, architecture, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver high-quality features.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expertise in Java (11+) and Python for backend services.
• Strong experience with AWS services, CI/CD pipelines, and IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation).
• Proficiency in RDS (PostgreSQL/Aurora) schema design and query optimization.
• Solid front-end experience with Angular (RxJS, state management).
• Must be local to Plano, TX for onsite work.

Nice to have

• Experience with GenAI (Amazon Bedrock, Claude Sonnet).
• Graph database experience (Amazon Neptune, Gremlin/SPARQL).
• Familiarity with Karate test automation framework.
• Knowledge of security frameworks (OAuth2/OIDC) and observability tools (Datadog/OpenTelemetry).
