What you will do

• Coordinate with vessel crews and port agents to schedule site attendances.
• Perform field testing and collect samples from ocean-going vessels and land-based facilities.
• Transport collected samples to the laboratory for analysis.
• Maintain strict adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) to prevent contamination.
• Ensure accurate results and sample integrity throughout the collection process.
• Work safely in port and industrial environments following all safety protocols.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or higher in chemistry, microbiology, environmental science, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of applicable professional experience.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds safely.
• Basic knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
