What you will do

• Conduct laboratory-scale synthesis of organic compounds and polymers up to several hundred grams.
• Perform analytical testing to characterize products and ensure final quality.
• Document experiments and prepare technology transfer packages for CROs/CMOs.
• Manage material and inventory databases and coordinate reagent orders from suppliers.
• Maintain strict compliance with departmental HSE and Quality regulations.
• Perform routine maintenance to keep the laboratory environment clean and orderly.

Requirements

• B.S. or B.A. in Chemistry, preferably from an ACS accredited program.
• Strong fundamental understanding of undergraduate-level chemistry.
• Proficiency in lab techniques including distillation, filtration, crystallization, and rotary evaporation.
• Experience using analytical methods: HPLC, GC, MS, UV/VIS, FTIR, NMR, TLC, and GCMS.
• Must be able to work onsite in Marlborough, MA.
